Community Manager

We are looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our team. If you are a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional we would love to meet you! Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content with the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. You will need to have a deep passion for social media, stay abreast of new developments and opportunities in the industry and be a strategic thinker. You will be responsible for creating and managing the online voice of the organization to build brand awareness and loyalty within the online community.

This role reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer and will be based out of our HQ in Calgary, AB located in Inglewood. Travel within Canada and the USA may be a requirement.

  • Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer, Chief Engagement Officers, Engagement Advisors and team members throughout the sales cycle; Facilitate the process from start to finish, bringing in the appropriate resources at the appropriate time
  • Develop, manage and execute lead generating B2B and content marketing campaigns
  • Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Ability to provide and create engaging text, images and video content for all digital, social and content marketing campaigns 
  • Responsible for developing and engaging the community by participating in discussions, finding new customers and listening to current ones 
  • Continuous strategy development for strengthening the community 
  • Responsible for managing and handling all incoming and outbound communications in a timely manner
  • Meet targets for community purpose and goals 
  • Continue to demonstrate expert knowledge of CULT services and proprietary methodologies
  • Other responsibilities as required
  • Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
  • Post-secondary graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant field
  • An active network of contacts/relationships that could potentially benefit from CULT services and solutions
  • Experience launching community initiatives (building and managing online forums, creating email newsletter campaigns, social media management, etc.)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community engagement KPI’s
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Experience with CRM and WordPress software
  • Good business acumen, with the ability to understand a prospects business in a variety of industries
  • Proficiency with the MS suite of applications including Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word
